It's official... we are hitting some big milestones! Jaysa is now somewhat enjoying "tummy time" and has rolled over 4 times now. She's sitting up very well, spending a little time in the "bumbo" seat too.
Me and Corey are ready to spend a day out of town so we are heading to Evansville tomorrow for lunch and some shopping. Really would rather go to Indy and see friends but until the funds are more efficient, it will have to do for now. At least we get a day off together. We are getting our new routines down which basically means... spend every other evening together and one weekend day. It just never feels like it's enough. Maybe we can go on a vacay soon and get a way..... That would be nice for sure.
Short & sweet this time :)

Getting bigger
Been a few weeks since I have updated... Jaysa is 3 1/2 months already! She really is growing quicker than what I imagined. I think she is bigger every time I get home. She is great at holding her head up, getting better with tummy time, she likes to stand (with your assistance of course), and we rolled over for the first time! I put her in a 6 month sleeper tonight.. I think she is going to have some looonnng legs!
On another note, work is going ok.. It's a lot easier to leave knowing her grandma's and dad is taking fantastic care of her. She is getting so much love and attention & I know how lucky I am to have such a great support system. Thank you family for the help :)
Me and Corey are doing our best to spend time together, I didn't realize how hard it would be with him gone on 24 and 48 hour shifts. I'm ready for him to have a "normal" job/career so he can be home every night with us. It's exhausting and lonely at times, but were making it work for now...
Also to anyone reading, please keep my Grandma Masters in your prayers. She is in Intermediate Care right now. She is on the uphill to getting better but needs all the support she can get.
Not sure if anyone is even reading this but I guess I will keep blogging away :)

11 Weeks Old
I'm currently soaking up every minute I have with Jaysa. I go back to work in less than a week and am having huge anxiety about it. I just can't imagine being gone all day from her. I don't want her to worry about where I am or if I'm coming back. I am very jealous of all the stay at home mom's out there. To be able to see your kids grow and bring them up the way you want is such a gift! I used to think that I could never do that, but now it's totally different. It's not about being able to stay at home, it's about raising your family. Ok, I have to quit thinking about it or I will start to cry again.
On a more happier note, Jaysa is 11 weeks old and is growing so fast! She can now hold her head up fairly steadily, she is alert and active a lot more during the day and is sleeping more at night! Our current schedule.... she gets up around 8ish, stays awake for an hour or two, sleeps for an hour or two. She is still eating every 2-3 hours, but we'll see how that changes once she starts taking a bottle more. She loves talking to her dad (a lot more than she talks to me) and her changing table is her favorite spot. We get the most play time and talk time there! Oh, and she smiles all the time. I'm lucky to have such a happy baby :)

Getting Started
I'm very new to this blogging thing. I hope to record the beginning of our family. For us, it will be a great way to just remember and a new way to share with friends and family what is going on in our lives. I hope I can be successful at this and keep it up :) Enjoy everyone!
